TRAFFIC, the wildlife trade monitoring network, works to ensure that trade in wild animals and plants is not a threat to the conservation of nature. TRAFFIC actively monitors and investigates wildlife trade and provides its information to diverse audiences worldwide as a basis for effective conservation policies and programmes. The organization was founded in 1976 and has grown into an international network, with more than 20 offices worldwide, organized in eight regional programmes.
TRAFFIC operates as a Programme Division of WWF-India, based in New Delhi. The TRAFFIC Head will lead an active TRAFFIC team working in India.
Location:New Delhi, with need to travel as required.
Tenure:The duration of the contract is for a 3 year period subject to extension as may be decided.

Remuneration will be competitive with Indian NGO pay scales and will depend upon candidate’s experience levels and the overall WWF-India salary structure. WWF-India does not provide housing and vehicle facilities.
